Risk Audits

A risk audit is a physical review of your fleet operation by qualified fleet risk assessors, and it forms an important part of your duty of care obligations.

The audit involves both on and off site activity - to visit a company and review its operation, and to gather all relevant documentation and review these off site in order to provide improvements.

Combined with driver risk assessments, a risk audit of your operation and documentation by a member of our team is usually the final piece of the jigsaw to demonstrate that you have done what is reasonably practicable, under the terms of the law, to meet your obligations.

From this, however, it is important to develop an action plan to address any weakness or ‘gaps’ in your approach. As part of the risk audit our assessors will advise you of these areas and how urgent it is to address them using a traffic light approach.

Red means it should be addressed immediately
Amber means it should be addressed within a reasonable timescale (which we will advise upon)
Green means it would enhance your position as a responsible employer, but is not essential.
